This unit charges my two ipods and my camera as I expected it would. It would not charge my friend’s iPhone through the USB port although it would charge through the iPhone AC adapter. It extended my laptop by 30 to 45 minutes — I had expected more. One thing I didn’t like is that when the device itself is plugged into AC, it will not charge anything.

I have a DS and a PSP and both worked fine with it. I had a little bit of trouble trying to charge my iRiver Clix via the USB port, but I think it might just be the software with the Clix. When my Clix has power and I plug it in, it just says USB connected but it won’t charge. However, if I drain all the power from the Clix then it will charge because it never goes into the Clix OS. It is what it is; portable power. It does tend to get a bit toasty when it’s being used, so hopefully you have a little leg room where you use it. It is actually smaller than I thought it would be: 5.5 x 3.25 x 1.5 (approximately).

I like that this product uses lithium cells instead of NiMH but, for the price, the Black & Decker CPI100B is better choice, as low as $38.
UPDATE: Price for Duracell dropped to $42 so I bought one. Big disappointment… shipped from from NY company which scared me and… sure enough, it just arrived and it’s USED, not new as advertised. This is the second time amazon has led me to do business with cheats from NY state.

Purchased last week and gave it the once over with several different devices. Battery LED is almost impossible to read, red and orange look the same and you can’t read them unless it’s dark. Ran a DVD player for 3-4 hours including the DVD battery. Ran a 28 Watt florescent light for 60 minutes. Only used the AC plug so far, recharged it 3 times and seems to hold it fine. Manual claims to charge in 6 hours, but it looked like it was still orange after 6 so I let it charge for 24 hours until it turned a definite green. Other than that it worked pretty much as advertised.
